The Surreal Self

Petite Doll’s work focuses on the fusion of self-portraiture and surrealism, exploring photography in a contemporary context.  She designs and constructs her own sets, incorporating sculpture, SFX prosthetics, and diverse materials, while frequently collaborating with artists globally.

She turns familiar situations into extraordinary visual narratives, challenging conventional notions of beauty by blending the beautiful with the grotesque. Through the art of self-portrait, she morphs into different characters, giving a glimpse into her own imagination, dreams, and unconscious mind.
